A damp squib of a month both literally and metaphorically. With four weekends available, just two weekends saw any action played at all.
The women kicked the month off with a 1-9 defeat to Baldon Sports. Baldon are the one team we are progressively getting worse against - 2-3, 1-2, 2-5, 1-4... The sooner they're promoted and we can play against teams like Leek & Potatoes or Franchester United the better!
Two weeks later, they faced Hampton & Richmond Borough looking for the points their performance deserved at Clapham, when they were held 1-1 after an explosive, attacking match. So, if you've been following the monthly reports this far, you'll know justice is not something the club have enjoyed much of this season. Solid endeavours were not enough and Wanderers were defeated 1-2 and 0-2.
The Men's 2nds played the only match for their gender in March and it was an exhilarating 0-0! Motspur Park were the opponents and, without a recognised goalkeeper, it would be Mark Wilson (pictured above left) who would earn Wanderers' first clean sheet of the season - that's after a ridiculous 58 matches...
Wanderers' previous goalless draw was 26th November 2016 against Motspur Park too and was only the 6th this century.
